However in TCM diet, we can find not only vitamins and minerals but also the energetic <a href=\"http:\/\/foodintcm.blogspot.com\/2010\/05\/tcm-food-classification-energetic.html\">properties<\/a>\u00a0of food. \u00a0The energies of foods refer to their capacity to generate sensations \u2013 either hot or cold \u2013 in our body. \u00a0This does not refer to the state of food but its effect on my bodies. For example, tea has a cold energy. This means that when I drink hot tea, it generates cold energy and it is therefore considered a cold beverage. Shortly after we have drunk hot tea, the heat begins to face quickly and it begins to generate cold energy internally, allowing our body to cool off.<\/p>\n<p>Here are the effects of a few common foods<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/yang-sheng.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/black_pepper2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-10836\" src=\"http:\/\/yang-sheng.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/black_pepper2-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"pepper\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a>Black Pepper<\/strong>: It is pungent and hot.\u00a0 It is good for treating cold in the intestines. Adding a little to your soups, stews and other dishes is a good idea in Winter.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_8270\" style=\"width: 160px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"http:\/\/yang-sheng.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/ginger.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-8270\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-8270\" src=\"http:\/\/yang-sheng.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/ginger-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"Fresh ginger (sheng jiang) \" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-8270\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Fresh ginger (sheng jiang)<\/p><\/div>\n<p><strong>Ginger<\/strong>:\u00a0 Has a warming nature that disperses cold, making it an ideal winter food.\u00a0 Use as an addition to soups, stews, vegetable dishes and as a tea.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Salt:<\/strong> Relates to the Spleen and Kidney Organs\/Meridians and is the flavor of Winter as it nourishes the Kidneys.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/yang-sheng.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Health-Benefits-of-Sesame-Seeds-for-Kids.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-10837\" src=\"http:\/\/yang-sheng.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Health-Benefits-of-Sesame-Seeds-for-Kids-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"Health-Benefits-of-Sesame-Seeds-for-Kids\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a>Sesame Seeds<\/strong>: These seeds stimulate the Liver and Kidney.
