The Seven Wonders of The World<\/strong><\/h2>\n

A group of students were asked to list what they thought were the present “Seven Wonders of the World.” Though there were some disagreements, the following received the most votes:<\/p>\n

1. Egypt’s Great Pyramids\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

2. Taj Mahal<\/p>\n

3. Grand Canyon<\/p>\n

4. Panama Canal<\/p>\n

5. Empire State Building<\/p>\n

6. St. Peter’s Basilica<\/p>\n

7. China’s Great Wall<\/p>\n

While gathering the votes, the teacher noted that one student had not finished her paper yet. So she asked the girl if she was having trouble with her list. The girl replied, “Yes, a little. I couldn’t quite make up my mind because there were so many.”<\/p>\n

The teacher said, “Well, tell us what you have, and maybe we can help.”<\/p>\n

The girl hesitated, then read, “I think the ‘Seven Wonders of the World’ are:”<\/p>\n

1. To See\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

2. To Hear<\/p>\n

3. To Touch<\/p>\n

4. To Taste<\/p>\n

5. To Feel<\/p>\n

6. To Laugh<\/p>\n

7. To Love<\/p>\n

The room was so quiet you could have heard a pin drop.<\/p>\n

The things we overlook as simple and ordinary and that we take for granted are truly wondrous!<\/p>\n

A gentle reminder — that the most precious things in life cannot be built by hand or bought by man.<\/p>\n

Some days you are the dog, some days you are the hydrant.<\/em><\/p>\n

Every time I find the meaning of life, they change it.<\/em><\/p>\n

The important thing is to question everything.<\/em><\/p>\n

Things are not as they seem, nor are they otherwise.<\/em><\/p>\n

Unless you\u2019re the lead dog the view doesn\u2019t change.<\/em><\/p>\n

I\u2019m immortal. So far.<\/em><\/p>\n

What happens if you get scared half to death twice?<\/em><\/p>\n

I\u2019m an agnostic dyslexic insomniac that lies awake all night wondering if there really is a dog.<\/em><\/p>\n

If reality wants to get in touch, it knows where I am.<\/em><\/p>\n

If there were no hypothetical questions what would this say?<\/em><\/p>\n

If you can\u2019t explain it simply, you don\u2019t understand it well enough.<\/em><\/p>\n
