But if we are excessively happy is that\u00a0all right? Over-happiness means the person is too\u00a0excited. In that moment, his or her blood pressure\u00a0easily rises too high. From ancient times until today,\u00a0there are many examples of people who were over-happy had a stroke or died.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u201c Fan Jin zhong Ju\u201d is one of those old Chinese stories. A village man who was over forty years old\u00a0studied very hard for twenty years. He took the\u00a0government examination and received the highest\u00a0grade. He was so excited because he thought on\u00a0that day he would become a government official,\u00a0and be the most important man in the village.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Unfortunately his dream never came true because\u00a0he was out of his mind being excessively happy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">A real American story just happened a few weeks\u00a0ago. A prisoner who had been in jail for many\u00a0years was released early for some reason. He was\u00a0so happy he became too excited, and had to go to\u00a0the emergency room soon after he went home.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">These stories tell us that when we encounter a special event in our life, we should take control of\u00a0our emotions. Not too angry, not too happy. \u00a0Sometimes we need to be calm. How can I calm\u00a0in the exciting moment? We should learn. \u00a0We should meditate.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u00a0Meditation will teach us how to be calm; meditation will cultivate us to become wise men; meditation will bring peace of mind; meditation can\u00a0raise good Qi in your body, and push bad Qi down\u00a0and out. \u00a0 Meditation also can regulate our endocrine system and allow normal blood circulation. \u00a0For all of the above, meditation is the priority of\u00a0Yang Xin.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/yang-sheng.com\/?attachment_id=9162\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-9162\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-9162\" alt=\"welcome expression\" src=\"http:\/\/yang-sheng.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/welcome-expression-300x241.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"241\" srcset=\"https:\/\/yang-sheng.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/welcome-expression-300x241.jpg 300w, https:\/\/yang-sheng.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/welcome-expression.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>But only a small number people practice meditation. \u00a0Most people chose chemical medications, even for\u00a0very slight tiny problems. For example aspirin, pain\u00a0killer etc. We already know that many people, including some celebrities have died by taking certain\u00a0pain killers. But many people are still dependent on\u00a0those medicines. They do not do meditation. Why?\u00a0They think it\u2019s easy to take medicine. Another main\u00a0reason they do not do meditation is because they say\u00a0they do not have time. \u00a0Sure, we all are busy. \u00a0Our modern society has a \u201cbig-bang\u201d of information, information overload, and people are\u00a0very busy every day, even every\u00a0minute. We are busy working\u00a0for money; busy studying for\u00a0the future; busy dating; busy\u00a0playing. Especially, we are busy\u00a0on the internet, on video games,\u00a0on iPhones. Information, information, it still is information.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The thousands of millions of\u00a0bits of information falling down\u00a0from the sky every moment surround us and submerge us. \u00a0They steal our time, and steal\u00a0our health. If we cannot control\u00a0ourselves, we will die in the\u00a0boundless sea of information. \u00a0For this main reason &#8211; we do not want an early\u00a0death &#8211; we should get away from those things for\u00a0a little while each day and make time and space\u00a0for ourselves by meditating.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u00a0How can I do this? Yes, you always can find the\u00a0time and place if you think that meditation is the\u00a0most important thing in your health life. You can\u00a0chose time during your lunch break, or late in the\u00a0evening. The best time is before you sleep; allow\u00a030 minutes for meditation. First sit comfortably,\u00a0and breathe deeply. Then put away any distractions: stocks, insurances, car and house, lover\u00a0and enemy, any sad and happy feelings. Empty your mind and feel the natural world. \u00a0If you can\u2019t do this every day, three times a week\u00a0is also good. You will feel different: bright, clear\u00a0and happy, because you cleanse your mind and\u00a0body through meditation. \u00a0For people to become completely healthy, only\u00a0doing meditation is not enough. If someone sits all day\u00a0long and seldom moves, he or she will become old\u00a0and feeble faster, with the possible result that they\u00a0will die earlier. We must avoid letting that happen and use any free time to do exercises, join any healthy\u00a0activities.
