A Comedy Moment

I Am Thankful for…

Gratitude leads to genuine happiness feeling

I am thankful for the wife who serves hot dogs again for dinner tonight…,
…because she is home with me, and not out with someone else.

I am thankful for the husband who is on the sofa being a couch potato again…,
… because he is home with me and not out at the bars.

I am thankful for my teenager who is complaining about doing dishes…
… because it means she is at home, not on the streets.

I am thankful for the extra taxes I have to pay this year…
… because it means I am employed and have a sizable income.

I am thankful for the mess to clean after a party…
…because it means I have been surrounded by friends.

I am thankful for a lawn that needs mowing, windows that need cleaning, and gutters that need fixing…
…because it means I have my own home.

I am thankful for all the complaints I heard about the government…
…because it means we have freedom of speech.

I am thankful for the parking spot I find at the far end of the parking lot…
…because it means I am capable of walking and I have been blessed  with transportation.

I am thankful for weariness and aching muscles at the end of the working day…
…because it means I have been capable of working hard.

I am thankful for the alarm clock that goes off in the early morning hours…
…because it means I am alive.

I am thankful finally, for too much e-mail…
…because it means I have many friends who are thinking of me…

positively good……sometimes we forget the joy of living is the chores(thats life, mindfulness, ethics, responsibilities, love etc) we have in life and not just chasing after all the inputs we get from advertisements ,mags,tv,radio……telling us wat (indirectly) life should be……oh all those stress……chasing, chasing never fulfill,no contentment, living our life to other people’s standants (as if we r a failure if we don’t).
